GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for designing, administrating, planning, installation, maintenance, upgrade, securing enterprise and data center firewalls, switches, and company's network.

Job Description:

The role includes but not limited to the responsibility of:

 Works under limited supervision in the administration, planning, installation, maintenance, upgrades, security monitoring and support of enterprise and datacenter firewall and network switches.

 Configure IPSEC VPNs for site-to-site connectivity, IPS, IDS, BGP, L2, L3 routing and NATs.

 Integrate firewalls with enterprise identity management system.

 Configure web and application filtering on firewalls as per requirements.

 Configure application port level security on firewalls for servers and users.

 Configure IPv6 on enterprise and core-network.

 Configure, log and monitor guest network.

 Plan and execute preventive and emergency maintenance.

 Monitor network performance for information event logs, analyze, and perform routine security practices as needed.

 Liaison with security & audit teams to optimize enterprise and datacenter networks and achieving compliances.

 Ensure to comply with change management SOPs, cyber security findings, CTDISR requirements.

 Awareness of security-based changes processes, i.e., Port changes, user authentication, system, and traffic logging.

 Identifies risks and communicates it to management.

 Develop technical documentation and diagrams following the company's policies.

 Upgrade OS and firmware of network devices, coordinate with vendors for support and upgrades.

 Maintain & track inventory.  Weekly/Monthly reporting.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Hands on experience on Juniper SRX series firewalls and QFX switches

Hands on experience on Cisco L2/L3 switches

Hands on experience in BGP and IPsec implementations

Hands on experience of IPS/IDS implementation.

Hands on experience on Dell / HP SAN switches and SAN storage network would be a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor's in computer science (Cyber Security preferred).

3-5 Years of relevant experience. Juniper/Network security certification would be a plus.
