About the Role:
We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work with our US-based client in the healthcare sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable cycle related to medical billing, ensuring accurate claim submissions, timely follow-ups, payment posting, and resolution of outstanding balances. This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with the US healthcare billing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, process, and manage medical claims for submission to insurance companies and patients.
- Follow up on unpaid claims via phone calls, emails, and insurance portals to ensure timely collections.
- Post payments from insurance companies and patients accurately in the system.
- Investigate and resolve claim rejections and denials, including resubmissions if necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and actions taken on each account.
- Generate accounts receivable reports and provide status updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality policies.
- Coordinate with the client's billing team to address queries and discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare revenue cycle management (US-based process preferred).
- Proficiency in medical billing software and MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work US business hours and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working with US clients in the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs65, Rs95,000.00 per month
