Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely compliance with direct and indirect tax requirements
  • Manage tax audits, assessments, and litigation, including data preparation and representation before authorities
  • Interpret tax laws, rules, and regulations, and provide guidance to business units
  • Apply relevant taxation principles to commercial transactions in line with business operations
  • Prepare reconciliations of financial statements with tax reporting requirements
  • Develop tax strategies and risk management approaches to optimize tax efficiency
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Pakistan's tax structure, laws, and litigation processes
  • Proven expertise in direct & indirect tax compliance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborative team player with leadership potential

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in taxation

Education:

  • MBA (Finance), CA, or ACCA
