Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Operations Manager role located in Karāchi. The Commercial Operations Manager will oversee daily commercial and operational activities, manage customer relationships, and ensure the seamless execution of services. The role also includes monitoring performance metrics, analyzing operational data, and developing strategies to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibility:

  • Negotiate & lock-in cost-effective contracts.
  • Monitor real-time vessel movements.
  • Manage husbandry service requirements.
  • Coordinate berthing with port authorities.
  • Own real-time port/berth/vessel data; share with masters, clients, terminals.
  • Orchestrate husbandry, documentation, cargo & customs clearance.
  • Optimize berth windows, logistics, and PDA vs. actual spend with Finance.
  • Coach coordinators; conduct quarterly reviews; lift team KPIs.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field

  • Prior experience in the maritime industry is a plus
