About the Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Lead Buyer to procure Distribution for the AMEA region and Digital Solutions for Global Manufacturing & Supply. This role demands a seasoned procurement professional with strong business acumen, global sourcing and a track record of success in fast-paced global environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to partner effectively across functions and geographies, ensuring alignment between global strategies and localized execution to drive business performance and operational efficiency.

Main responsibilities:

Strategy

    • Develop & implement innovative strategies for Distribution Services (AMEA) and M&S Digital products worldwide, in alignment with the GLBs and relevant stakeholders.
  • Create a multi-year roadmap to deliver savings and value for brands.
  • Ensure procurement excellence in TCO, sustainability, innovation, supply continuity, and quality.
  • Engage with business partners for need evaluation, sourcing strategy and supplier management strategies.
  • Lead or support regional distribution/digital transformation projects (e.g., network redesign, digitalization).

Operational

    • Plan and manage bidding, negotiate prices, and establish contracts.
  • Lead Distribution & Digital projects and resolve supplier-related issues.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical, operational, financial).
  • Drive new market opportunities and sustainable components.
  • Manage supplier relationships and drive supplier base optimization.
  • Improve payment terms to optimize working capital and cash flow.
  • Manage contract Lifecycle for incumbent categories and enforce SLA.

Business Partnering

    • Collaborate with Supply chain & Digital teams to ensure effective interface and execution.
  • Communicate within the procurement community to act as one.
  • Facilitate business interactions to drive initiatives and strategies.
  • Partner with other departments like finance, digital, supply chain and legal.
  • Support country-level operations with regional insights and escalation management.
  • Act as a liaison between global procurement and local execution teams.

About you:

  • Experience: proven experience in Supply Chain / SC Procurement in dynamic, global corporate environments.
  • Experience Managing Procurement for Digital projects within Supply Chain.

    • Soft skills: Leadership skills and experience with proven track record in building and leading cross functional teams / Effective communication skills (oral & written) / Strongly continuous improvement oriented.
  • Technical skills: Negotiation skills / Ability to understand the products, the supplier and product processes / Business acumen and strategic thinking / Understanding in Cost management, budgeting and controlling.
  • Languages: Fluent in English
