Job Title: SEO Team Lead

Industry: Vape (Preferred)

Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager/Director

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced SEO Team Lead to develop and implement comprehensive search engine optimization strategies for our vape products and accessories. The successful candidate will lead our SEO efforts, focusing on both on-page and off-page optimization, to drive organic traffic, increase search engine rankings, and boost sales.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Page Optimization:

1.Keyword Research : Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant terms and phrases.

2. Content Optimization: Optimize website content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and landing pages.

  1. Meta Tags and Descriptions: Write and optimize meta titles, descriptions, and keywords.

  2. Website Structure: Ensure website structure and architecture are search engine friendly.

  3. Technical SEO: Ensure website technical performance, including page speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability.

Off-Page Optimization:

  1. Link Building: Develop and implement link building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.

  2. Guest Blogging: Identify opportunities for guest blogging and outreach to relevant websites.

  3. Influencer Outreach: Collaborate with influencers in the vape industry to promote products and build backlinks.

  4. Social Signals: Leverage social media platforms to increase brand visibility and drive traffic.

  5. Local SEO: Optimize Google My Business listing and manage local citations.

Team Management:

  1. Leadership: Lead and manage a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, training, and support.

  2. Task Management: Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of projects.

Analytics and Reporting:

  1. SEO Metrics:Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics.

  2. Regular Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 2 years in a team lead or management role.

  2. Skills: - Proven SEO expertise, with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors. - Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in SEO tools, such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.

  3. Knowledge: - In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, including on-page and off-page optimization. - Familiarity with content creation, marketing, and branding principles.
