Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Performance Test Engineer with expertise in performance, load, stress, and scalability testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple performance testing tools and a forward-thinking approach to AI-driven performance analysis and optimization. You will play a key role in ensuring our applications run efficiently and reliably at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive performance test strategies for web, mobile, API, and microservices-based systems.
  • Develop and execute performance test scripts using industry-standard tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Locust, k6).
  • Identify and diagnose performance bottlenecks across frontend, backend, databases, and network layers.
  • Analyze test results using monitoring and profiling tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics).

  • Utilize AI-powered tools and techniques to:

  • Predict system behavior under load.

  • Automatically detect performance anomalies.
  • Optimize test data and scenarios.
  • Automate performance tests within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous validation.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to resolve performance issues and recommend tuning.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards with actionable insights.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in performance engineering and AI-driven testing.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.

  • Proficient in at least two performance testing tools:

  • JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Locust, k6, NeoLoad, BlazeMeter

  • Strong scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash, or similar.
  • In-depth understanding of system architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and network protocols.
  • Experience with APM tools: Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, DataDog.
  • Familiarity with cloud performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native performance tuning.
  • Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
