Role Summary

The Content and Social Media Specialist is responsible for executing Codup's content and social media strategies to build brand awareness, engage target audiences, and support demand generation initiatives. This role focuses on producing high-quality content and managing social media channels, ensuring alignment with Codup's strategic objectives and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Creation and Management
    • Write and publish high-quality content, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, email copy, and social media posts, aligned with ICP pain points and industry trends​​.
    • Collaborate with designers to create visually engaging multimedia assets like infographics, videos, and carousel posts.
    • Repurpose existing content into different formats for broader distribution across channels (e.g., turning blogs into LinkedIn snippets or case studies into Twitter threads).
  2. Social Media Management
    • Manage Codup's presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram by scheduling and publishing posts based on the provided content calendar​.
    • Engage with followers by responding to comments, initiating conversations, and sharing relevant industry news to build community relationships.
    • Execute targeted campaigns to amplify content and events, ensuring alignment with other GTM efforts like ABM and event marketing​.
  3. Campaign Execution
    • Support pre-, during-, and post-event campaigns by creating and distributing content that promotes Codup's participation in trade shows, webinars, and advisory dinners​​.
    • Assist in launching paid social campaigns in coordination with the Performance Marketing Specialist, ensuring consistent messaging across organic and paid efforts.
  4. Community Engagement
    • Identify and engage with influencers, partners, and key audience members on social platforms to expand reach and foster relationships​.
    • Monitor conversations and trends in Codup's key industries (e.g., manufacturing and distribution) to identify opportunities for engagement or content creation.
  5. Performance Tracking and Reporting
    • Track content and social media performance using analytics tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and native social media insights.
    • Provide monthly performance reports highlighting key metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, and website traffic from social).
    • Use data insights to recommend optimizations for future content and social campaigns​.
  6. Sales Enablement Support
    • The Content and Social Media Coordinator enhances sales enablement by producing targeted content assets that align with sales objectives. They create compelling case studies, customer success stories, and thought leadership pieces that help the sales team demonstrate Codup's expertise and impact.
Skills & Competencies
  • Writing and Storytelling:
    • Strong ability to craft compelling and error-free content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
  • Social Media Expertise:
    • Proficiency with platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or HubSpot Social).
  • SEO Knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of SEO principles to optimize content for search visibility.
  • Project Management:
    • Exceptional organizational skills to manage publishing schedules, meet deadlines, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Analytics Proficiency:
    • Experience with tracking and reporting tools to measure content and social media performance.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing principles and GTM strategies.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
