Job Summary:

The Junior Estimation Engineer supports the Estimation and Tendering team by preparing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and technical documents for construction and engineering projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to assist in developing accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  • Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify scope and quantity discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for pricing and technical clarifications.
  • Prepare rate analysis, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and cost breakdowns under the guidance of senior estimators.
  • Assist in obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for tenders.
  • Maintain and update the cost database for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Participate in site visits when required to collect data for estimation.
  • Ensure all estimating activities are carried out in compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in USA/AUS based estimation or Planning

Technical Skills:

  • knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Familiarity with estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam,Primavera , Plan Swift , Excel-based tools).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
