IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
Be responsible for the effective allocation, management, and optimization of resources within the sales team. This role involves coordinating personnel, tools, and budgetary resources to ensure the sales team is well-equipped to meet targets and deadlines. The role also ensures that the sales team operates efficiently, with proper planning of manpower, technology, and financial resources, enabling smooth operations and contributing to overall sales performance.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
Be responsible for providing actionable market insights that directly support sales strategies and business development efforts. The role involves gathering and analyzing data on customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends to help the sales team identify new opportunities, improve customer engagement, and enhance overall performance. The position requires excellent research and analytical skills, strong collaboration with sales teams, and the ability to translate market data into practical sales strategies.
HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT
Market Research & Sales Intelligence:
- Conduct research on market trends, industry shifts, and competitive positioning to support the sales team's efforts.
- Analyze customer needs, behaviors, and preferences to provide insights that help tailor sales strategies.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and untapped markets through in-depth market analysis
Sales Support & Competitor Analysis:
- Provide sales teams with detailed competitor analysis, focusing on product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition approaches.
- Maintain a competitive intelligence database that the sales team can leverage for account planning and strategy development.
- Collaborate with sales managers to develop tactics for countering competitor activities.
Customer Insights & Lead Generation:
- Analyze customer data to identify trends, sales opportunities, and churn risks.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop customer segmentation and targeted sales approaches.
- Assist in lead generation efforts by identifying key market segments and potential high-value customers.
Reporting & Dashboard Creation:
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide sales teams with up-to-date information on market conditions, competitor moves, and customer needs.
- Present actionable insights to sales management to inform strategic sales decisions and forecasts.
- Support the development of sales proposals by providing data-driven market insights.
Collaboration with Sales Teams:
- Partner with sales managers, account executives, and business development teams to translate market intelligence into effective sales strategies.
Provide regular briefings on market conditions and competitive dynamics to help sales teams adjust tactics in real-time.
Sales Forecasting & Trend Analysis:
Utilize forecasting models to project sales performance based on market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
- Provide input to sales forecasting and target setting based on detailed market intelligence and historical data.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience in market research, sales intelligence, or data analysis, with a focus on supporting sales teams in the telecom or related industries.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales data analytics tools, and market research platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on sales metrics and KPIs.
Soft Skills:
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially with sales teams.
- Ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable format.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a sales context.
