INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a
Trainee Payable Administrator
to join our Supply Chain team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, and Manufacturing industries. What You'll Lead And Deliver

• Manage and maintain the accounts payable ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Review, verify, and record vendor invoices in the system in a timely manner.
• Collect and validate supporting documentation for all payment requests.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.
• Ensure on-time processing of vendor payments with the appropriate approval authorizations.
• Resolve supplier account queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements to maintain accurate records.
• Set up and process new vendor accounts in the system.
• Collaborate and liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to resolve invoice-related queries for smooth approval and payment processing.
• Prepare and deliver regular management reports on accounts payable activities.
• Provide ad hoc support and assistance to the finance team as required.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0 – 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Solid understanding of general ledger systems and accounts payable processes.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and within a team.
• Capability to analyze and interpret financial statements and related reports.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred).
