About the Role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to design and implement the core infrastructure of a stablecoin treasury and financial dashboard application. The role requires expertise in real-time data processing, multi-integration systems (banking + blockchain), and secure API design. The ideal candidate has experience in fintech, blockchain wallets, and treasury platforms, with a strong focus on scalability, compliance, and transaction integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop a scalable backend to support multi-organization, multi-user treasury operations.

Build and maintain integrations with banking APIs (Plaid, etc.) and crypto providers (WalletConnect, Fireblocks, Coinbase Prime, etc.).

  • Design a data schema to normalize fiat and crypto transaction data across multiple sources.

  • Implement real-time data pipelines for balances, transactions, and financial operations.

  • Ensure security of sensitive data (wallet connections, API keys, encryption at rest/in transit).

  • Establish audit trails, transaction logging, and integrity checks for compliance.

  • Collaborate with frontend developers to provide high-performance APIs and real-time endpoints.

  • Set up CI/CD pipelines, staging/production environments, and infrastructure monitoring.

  • Optimize system performance and scalability for frequent balance refreshes and transaction queries.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Backend frameworks: (NestJS, ) or Python (Django, FastAPI).

  • Blockchain knowledge: Ethereum, stablecoins, transaction lifecycle management.

  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other relational + NoSQL hybrids.

  • Real-time data: WebSockets, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.

  • API design: RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with strong authentication (OAuth2, JWT).

  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous data handling and reconciliation across multiple APIs.

  • Experience with secure integrations.

  • Infrastructure experience with Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure.

Nice to Have

  • DevOps awareness and proven blockchain project management experience

  • Prior experience with treasury systems, accounting workflows, or fintech compliance.

  • Experience implementing audit logs, ledger systems, or reconciliation modules.

  • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, Terraform, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
