About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Energy Data Analyst to develop and implement energy optimization initiatives through advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. This role involves leveraging large datasets from diverse sources to build data-driven strategies that enhance energy efficiency within a telecom network.

Your Impactful Goals will include:

• Design and implement energy optimization initiatives using data gathered from various hardware and software sources.

• Lead the development of an integrated Energy Analytics Platform, including automation and ML-based use cases, for efficient energy management across the network.

• Apply data science and analytical expertise to formulate actionable plans and identify opportunities for improvement in energy management strategies.

Your Typical Day will look like:

• Analyze large-scale datasets related to power, infrastructure, and energy across the entire network.

• Correlate data from different hardware and soft sources for creating meaningful visualization, analysis, evaluation, and conclusion using statistical and analytical tools.

• Automate processes, develop algorithms, and use cases for application of AI / ML in energy management.

• Identify improvement areas and catalyst integrated Energy Analytics platform development used by Telenor Pakistan.

Your Career Path:

What we're looking for:

Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in the area of Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, Data Science or Telecom Engineering from a recognized Institution.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in same or relevant position, preferably in Mobile Operator/Service Provider environment 

• Experience in Power planning and energy management

• Understanding and good experience of Data Science, Data Analytics and Machine Learning.

Certifications:
Certifications in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability and Data Analytics and Data Science will be an added advantage. 

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:

• Strong skills to process, evaluate, correlate, and conclude big data sourced from different Network Elements with respect to Power Parameters, energy consumption and Alarms.

• Strong knowledge of power infrastructure, planning, and operations in telecom network

• Ability to design and execute Energy efficiency and sustainability roadmap

• Skills to devise advanced algorithms and process flows leading to application of Machine Learning and autonomous decisions driving energy efficiency.

• Data Science and Analytics Skills (Programming, Statistics and probability, Data wrangling and database management, Deep and machine learning and Data visualization)

• Strong Interpersonal Skills (Active listening, Articulation and effective communication, Empathy, Good Project management skills)

• Strong Problem analysis, investigation, Root Cause Assessment and troubleshooting skills.

• Self-driven, adaptable, and able to work independently under challenging conditions.

• Innovative, proactive and have customer focused approach.

• A strong problem solver, have investigation instinct and good troubleshooting skills.
