Job Summary

We are hiring a skilled Data Analyst with 2 to 3 years of experience in data visualization, reporting, and analytical problem-solving. The role involves transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that support decision-making across business units. This is an excellent opportunity to work with diverse data sources and contribute to Zarea's mission of digitising commodity trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Develop dashboards and interactive reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Work with SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze relational data.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, finance, and operations.
  • Document data processes, queries, and reporting structures.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of business-critical data.
  • Support predictive modeling and business forecasting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Strong skills in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros).
  • Ability to present complex data in clear and simple ways.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
