Job Summary
We are hiring a skilled Data Analyst with 2 to 3 years of experience in data visualization, reporting, and analytical problem-solving. The role involves transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that support decision-making across business units. This is an excellent opportunity to work with diverse data sources and contribute to Zarea's mission of digitising commodity trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop dashboards and interactive reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Work with SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze relational data.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, finance, and operations.
- Document data processes, queries, and reporting structures.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and security of business-critical data.
- Support predictive modeling and business forecasting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Strong skills in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros).
- Ability to present complex data in clear and simple ways.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
