Job Summary:
The General Manager – LPG will be responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the LPG business unit under Max Holding Pvt. Ltd. This role will oversee
procurement, sales, plant operations, logistics, compliance, and profitability
of the LPG business. The GM will ensure compliance with OGRA regulations, maintain strong relationships with suppliers, transporters, and customers, and lead initiatives to expand the LPG business while maintaining operational excellence and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets for the LPG unit.
- Identify market opportunities for growth in sales and distribution.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
2. Sales & Marketing
- Oversee LPG sales, pricing, and distribution strategies.
- Maintain relationships with bulk buyers, distributors, and corporate clients.
- Manage OGRA-compliant price notifications and advertisements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust business strategies.
3. Procurement & Supply Chain
- Manage procurement of LPG bowsers and maintain supplier relationships.
- Arrange bowsers for upliftment of LPG allocated under PPA agreements.
- Ensure timely payment and reconciliation of bowser purchases with accounts.
4. Operations & Plant Management
- Oversee plant operations, ensuring optimal production, storage, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely maintenance of LPG plant and equipment.
- Supervise LPG distribution reports for PPL and OGRA.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance in all operations.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Manage bid documentation and submissions on PPL's E-portal.
- Ensure compliance with OGRA requirements, licenses, and permits.
- Maintain complete operational and compliance records for audits.
6. Financial & Performance Management
- Monitor profit and loss reports; identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review financial reconciliations with accounts regularly.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets.
7. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor LPG operations, sales, and technical teams.
- Set performance goals and monitor staff KPIs.
- Conduct training and development sessions for team members.
