Lead Treasury

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Treasury Management:

• Manage banking relationships and oversee cash flow planning to ensure liquidity.

• Administer daily banking operations and monitoring of accounts.

• Coordinate financing matters with Head Office, ensuring compliance with covenants.

• Preparation of treasury reports for management.

• Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize idle balances.

• Manage investment of surplus funds in line with company policy to maximize returns while preserving capital.

• Ensure accurate forecasting of cash flow to support operational and financing needs.

• Monitor compliance with loan agreements, including timely debt servicing and covenant reporting.

1. Insurance Management

• Oversee corporate insurance policies, including property, assets, and employee-related coverage.

• Review adequacy of insurance coverage, ensuring risk mitigation and cost efficiency.

• Liaise with brokers and insurers for claims, renewals, and negotiations.

• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and contractual requirements.

• Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify new or emerging exposures requiring insurance coverage.

• Maintain insurance documentation and schedules for audits and regulatory reviews.

• Monitor claim settlements to ensure timely recovery and proper accounting treatment.

1. Risk & Compliance (Treasury-related)

• Develop and monitor treasury policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax laws, and regulatory requirements relating to treasury operations.

• Support internal and external audits by providing treasury-related documentation and explanations.

• Evaluate treasury systems and propose automation or digital solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified CA, CA (inter) or ACCA.

B. Minimum Experience:

• 2-3 years of post-qualification treasury experience in case of CA and 8 years in case of ACCA / CA (inter).

C. Functional Expertise (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, MS365, or QuickBooks).

• Strong understanding of local treasury management practices including FE Manual and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
