Head – International Remittance

• We are looking for a seasoned and visionary leader to head Easypaisa's International Remittance and Foreign Exchange (FX) Business. The incumbent will play a critical role in shaping and executing the organization's cross-border payments strategy, expanding remittance corridors, building strong global alliances, and driving P&L growth across international payment verticals — including inbound remittances, freelancer payments, and FX settlement frameworks.
• The ideal candidate is a domain expert in international remittances and cross-border payments, with a proven record of enabling large-scale remittance programs, onboarding global Money Transfer Operators (MTOs), and leading strategic partnerships across banking, fintech, and exchange ecosystems.

CORE / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

2. Develop and execute the long-term strategy for international remittances and cross-border payments, aligned with Easypaisa's digital banking vision.

3. Lead the expansion of inbound corridors, freelancer payment rails, and FX partnerships, ensuring strong commercial performance and sustainable growth.
4. Identify, negotiate, and onboard new global MTOs, exchange houses, and remittance aggregators, expanding Easypaisa's partner network across the GCC, MENA, and Asia.
5. Drive business planning, forecasting, and revenue delivery with full ownership of P&L.
6. Establish strategic FX arrangements and liquidity management frameworks in collaboration with Treasury.
7. Represent Easypaisa at regulatory, institutional, and industry forums to position the organization as a leading digital remittance player.

2. Partnership Development & Ecosystem Enablement

• Build and nurture high-impact relationships with international partners, financial institutions, fintechs, and regulatory bodies (including SBP and Pakistan Remittance Initiative).
• Spearhead commercial discussions, pricing models, and corridor launches with new partners.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Compliance teams to ensure partner integrations are scalable, compliant, and customer-centric.
• Drive innovation in cross-border payment experiences, including real-time transfers, wallet credits, and digital disbursement models.

3. Product & Market Expansion

• Define the product roadmap for international remittance and FX offerings, ensuring continuous evolution and market competitiveness.
• Launch new propositions for freelancer and SME payments, bridging global income flows to Easypaisa wallets and accounts.
• Explore partnerships for multi-currency wallet, virtual accounts, and international settlements to expand the platform's global reach.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations shaping global money movement.

4. Governance, Compliance & Risk Oversight

• Ensure the business operates within the frameworks of SBP, PRI, and FATF guidelines.
• Drive strategic alignment with internal teams (Compliance, Risk, Legal, Treasury) for regulatory readiness of new corridors and products.
• Maintain oversight of key performance, compliance, and operational indicators while empowering teams to execute effectively.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION / CERTIFICATION:

• Masters

CORE/KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

• 12–15 years of experience in international remittance, cross-border payments, or FX business within banking, fintech, or exchange sectors.
• Proven track record in building and scaling remittance corridors, onboarding MTOs, and establishing global payment partnerships.
• Deep understanding of foreign currency (FCY) movements, SWIFT, interbank settlement systems (IBFT, RTGS), and international treasury norms.
• Expertise in remittance compliance frameworks (KYC, AML/CFT, PRI) and strong liaison experience with SBP and PRI.
• Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and strong sales orientation — able to balance innovation, regulatory alignment, and business growth.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and influencing at senior leadership and board levels.
