About the Role:

Citrok is looking for a talented
Shopify Developer
with strong expertise in
Shopify custom development, WordPress core
, and a solid
Computer Science background
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and customizing eCommerce websites, ensuring smooth functionality, and delivering pixel-perfect designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain
    Shopify themes, apps, and integrations
    .
  • Work with
    WordPress core
    , plugins, and custom theme development.
  • Optimize websites for
    speed, responsiveness, and SEO best practices
    .
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve code performance.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and the BD team to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party services for seamless eCommerce experiences.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience
    in Shopify and WordPress development.
  • Strong understanding of
    Liquid, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
    .
  • Experience in
    Shopify Plus
    and advanced customization will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in
    WordPress core
    , custom plugins, and theme development.
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science (CS)
    or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with
    other eCommerce platforms
    (WooCommerce, Magento, etc.).
  • Knowledge of
    UI/UX principles
    for better design integration.
  • Familiarity with
    version control (Git)
    .
