Overview:

Seeking an experienced E-commerce Developer proficient in Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce. The role involves custom theme/plugin development, performance optimization, system integration, and delivering responsive, high-performing e-commerce websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain e-commerce sites (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce)
  • Build custom themes, plugins, and extensions
  • Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible frontends
  • Optimize performance (caching, CDN, load balancing)
  • Integrate APIs, payment/shipping systems, and third-party tools
  • Manage deployments using Git and CI/CD
  • Collaborate with designers for pixel-perfect UI
  • Debug and resolve production issues
  • Implement security best practices
  • Monitor site analytics and uptime

Required Skills:

  • Magento 2.x, Shopify (Liquid), WooCommerce (WordPress)
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, Bootstrap/Tailwind
  • PHP, MySQL, REST/GraphQL APIs
  • Custom theme/plugin development
  • Familiarity with (preferred)
  • Experience with AWS, Nginx, Docker, Git, CI/CD
  • Page speed & performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in CS or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of e-commerce development experience
  • Proven expertise in custom builds, integrations, and optimization

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with headless commerce (Hydrogen, PWA Studio)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce

Job Type: Full time, On-site
