Job Summary
We are seeking motivated, persuasive, and detail-oriented individuals to join our Auto Transport Brokerage team as Freight Brokers / Customer Sales Representatives. In this role, you will generate and close sales, negotiate with carriers, and ensure smooth and timely delivery of vehicle shipments. The ideal candidate will be goal-driven with excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, eager to thrive in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls/emails with potential customers.
Provide accurate information about auto transport services, routes, and pricing.
Generate and follow up on leads to secure bookings.
Identify and build relationships with new clients (individuals, dealerships, businesses) while maintaining existing ones
.Source, vet, and negotiate with carriers to secure reliable and cost-effective solutions.
Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers to maximize profitability.
Coordinate and manage shipments (pickups, tracking, delivery).
Maintain accurate records using CRM/TMS tools (DAT, Truckstop, Central Dispatch, etc.).Work closely with dispatch and operations teams.
Meet and exceed weekly/monthly sales targets.
Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service.
Ensure compliance with regulations and proper documentation (bills of lading, contracts, insurance).
Requirements
Experience: 1–2 years in freight brokerage, logistics, sales, or customer service preferred (auto transport experience is a plus). Entry-level candidates with strong sales skills may also apply.Education: High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business/logistics is a plus.Skills:* Strong sales & negotiation skills* Excellent English communication (verbal & written)* Ability to work under pressure & handle objections* Proficiency with MS Office & CRM/TMS tools
