We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Officer with proven experience in the FMCG or retail sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT systems, monitoring CCTV, and verifying product returns. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level IT support to employees for hardware, software, networking, and POS/ERP systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, POS systems, and network equipment.
  • Perform regular system checks and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Monitor CCTV footage to ensure employee compliance, verify product returns, and detect suspicious activities.
  • Investigate and report security or system-related issues in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Verify product returns by cross-checking with system records and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues and troubleshooting steps in a ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the senior IT team when required.
  • Assist in implementing IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT tools, trends, and security practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of IT support experience in an FMCG or retail firm (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Hands-on experience with POS/ERP systems (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to monitor and interpret CCTV footage for reporting and security.
  • Strong communication skills to support non-technical staff effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of IT security principles.

Location: Defence Head Office.
