We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant (Payables) to manage vendor invoices, payments, and expense tracking. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of accounts payable processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, verify, and process vendor invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable ledger and reconcile balances.
  • Monitor due dates and ensure timely settlement of supplier bills.
  • Handle petty cash and staff reimbursements.
  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments to validate purchase orders and expenses.
  • Prepare reports on payables, outstanding liabilities, and cash flow requirements.
  • Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and tax requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial regulations, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
