Job Description

  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and analysing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • General Ledger Management: Managing and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with the development of budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance, and analysing variances.
  • Audits and Taxes: Assisting with both internal and external audits, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards (GAAP). Ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulatory requirements
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and implementing necessary changes.
  • Supervision: In some cases, supervising junior accountants or accounting staff.

Essential skills

  • General Accounting Softwares
  • Proactive/Good Communication Skills

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA/CA preferred.
