We are seeking an experienced 
Senior Accountant
 to oversee financial accounting, reporting, and taxation matters. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of 
Pakistani tax laws (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax)
, and expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and audits. The ideal candidate will be a 
CA Finalist / Qualified ACCA / ICMA
 or equivalent with hands-on experience in accounting and taxation for a manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities
Taxation & Compliance

  • Prepare and file 
    monthly sales tax, withholding tax, and income tax returns
    .
  • Ensure compliance with 
    FBR regulations and provincial tax authorities
    .
  • Manage tax assessments, audits, and correspondence with regulators.
  • Optimize tax planning while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Advise management on tax implications of business decisions.

Internal Controls & Support

  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
  • Assist in ERP/accounting software implementation and data accuracy.
  • Supervise junior accountants/accounts staff, providing guidance and training.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
     CA (Qualified/Finalist), ACCA, ICMA, or MBA Finance with strong tax background.
  • Experience:
     4–6 years of experience in accounting & taxation (preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sector).
  • Strong knowledge of 
    Pakistani tax laws, FBR procedures, and corporate compliance
    .
  • Proficiency in 
    ERP/Accounting systems
     and MS Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
