Role Overview

Techwaresoft is seeking a full-time Social Media Video Editor (Remote) who can craft captivating, trend-driven short-form videos and reels for our digital platforms. You'll play a key role in shaping our visual storytelling by creating engaging, high-impact content aligned with our brand tone and marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality reels, memes, carousels, and short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Use AI-based tools to ideate, generate, and enhance visuals and video content.
  • Repurpose and optimize existing content for multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and execute campaigns.
  • Add engaging subtitles, captions, and CTAs to boost audience interaction.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and creatively adapt them for brand visibility.
  • Ensure all videos meet brand standards and storytelling objectives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in social media video editing and storytelling.
  • Proficiency in professional video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve).
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement tactics.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Runway, Sora, Pika, Midjourney) for video or image generation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, fast-paced setup.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Must-Have Skills

  • Creative intuition and context awareness to align content with brand tone and audience preferences.
  • Deep understanding of Gen Z/Millennial humor and social media culture.
  • Ability to translate trends into engaging, brand-relevant content.
  • Strong storytelling and visual composition skills.
  • A proactive, fast-learning mindset with the ability to execute ideas quickly.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in motion graphics, animation, or special effects.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and how video affects campaign performance.
  • Experience with UGC or influencer-style video editing.
  • Familiarity with paid ad video formats for Meta and TikTok platforms.
