Responsibilities:

  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the production team.
  • Manage the job order management system to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Minimize machine breakdowns across Dyehouse, Finishing, and Utility operations.
  • Oversee smooth operation of utilities including compressor, boiler, RO plant, water storage, diesel generator, and wastewater treatment plant.
  • Coordinate with process controllers to achieve machine and utility parameters required for production.
  • Monitor and control consumption of local and imported spare parts.
  • Prepare Kaizen and One Point Lessons (OPL) related to operations and EHS.
  • Maintain electrical supply systems including HT/LT and gensets.
  • Track and control operational KPIs such as electricity, fossil fuel, and water consumption.
  • Ensure wastewater parameters and emissions comply with PEQs.
  • Complete all health & safety requirements including Intelex actions.
  • Ensure safe execution of maintenance operations by in-house teams and contractors.
  • Supervise contractors/service providers for maintenance projects.
  • Oversee general plant maintenance including air conditioners, coolers, lights, and fans.

Requirements:

  • BSc Engineering or BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and utility operations.
  • Hands-on experience with compressors, boilers, RO plants, diesel generators, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems (HT/LT) and gensets.
  • Good understanding of operational KPIs and resource efficiency (electricity, water, fossil fuels).
  • Awareness of environmental standards and PEQs compliance.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills for managing teams and contractors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems.
  • High attention to safety, EHS standards, and regulatory compliance.
