Position Overview:

We are looking for a Control Room Operator & IT Support Officer to manage the school's CCTV surveillance, IT systems, and technical support. The ideal candidate should be vigilant, detail-oriented, and technically skilled, ensuring smooth monitoring of school premises and reliable IT support for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:Control Room & Security Monitoring

  • Monitor CCTV cameras and ensure all school premises are under surveillance at all times.
  • Report suspicious activities, safety issues, or emergencies immediately to the school administration.
  • Maintain records of daily monitoring logs and incident reports.
  • Ensure CCTV and security systems are fully functional and report technical faults promptly.
  • Coordinate with security staff to ensure smooth entry/exit of students, staff, and visitors.

IT Support & Maintenance

  • Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students regarding computers, printers, projectors, smart boards, and internet connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software as required.
  • Maintain the school's network, internet, and Wi-Fi systems to ensure smooth connectivity.
  • Assist in setting up presentations, online classes, examinations, and multimedia equipment.
  • Regularly update and back up school data systems.

Administrative & Coordination Duties

  • Keep a log of IT-related complaints and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for repair/maintenance of IT and security equipment.
  • Support school management in implementing IT policies, data security, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with school safety and data privacy regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in CCTV monitoring, IT support, or school IT management preferred.
  • Knowledge of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and surveillance systems.
  • Ability to multitask, stay alert, and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CCTV software, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows, MS Office, Google Workspace, and school management systems.
  • Ability to train staff in basic IT usage and digital tools.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving both security and IT issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs35,000.00 per month
