Key Responsibilities
- Odoo Development & Customization – Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on specific business requirements.
- System Integration – Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and ensure smooth interoperability with other internal systems.
- Database Management – Design, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and scalability.
- Testing & Quality Assurance – Perform unit and integration testing; work closely with QA teams to identify, fix, and prevent software bugs.
- Documentation & Training – Create and maintain technical documentation; prepare user manuals and training materials.
- Collaboration & Reviews – Work alongside developers, business analysts, and functional consultants; participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Upgrades & Migration – Assist in upgrading existing Odoo systems and migrating data to newer versions.
- Continuous Learning – Stay updated with the latest Odoo features, updates, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Odoo Developer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of the Odoo framework and its module development.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities.
- Experience in functional analysis — gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
