Software Architect Azure

We are looking for a Software Architect in the Apps & Data solution area, specializing in Microsoft Azure Cloud, who is passionate about driving our customers' business applications & AI transformation on Microsoft Azure. This is a customer-facing role, owning both the business applications-focused technical relationship and technical strategy between the customer and tkxel, helping customers to leverage their investments through architecture, implementation and operational engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Architect end-to-end Software solutions that integrate Azure application services, infrastructure, and data services to meet diverse business needs.
  

• Customer Centric: Drive positive Customer Satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor to customers and partners, by leveraging Microsoft Azure Services expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes. You will actively listen and respectfully challenge yourself to drive the best outcomes.
  

• Customer/Partner Insights: Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant teams including Sales and PMO, to enable continuous improvement.
  

• Accelerate Value Realization: Actively engage with business and technical decision makers to drive intent, enablement and usage of Microsoft Azure, securing long-term customer engagements. Galvanize technical and sales experts around additional identified opportunities to develop customer specific roadmaps that drive further growth & business value realization.
  

• Business Impact: Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with business and technical decision makers to ensure they understand tkxel's value proposition and get value from their investments.
  

• Resolution of Customer Blockers: Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging deep knowledge of Microsoft services & technical subject matter expertise. Lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their Microsoft Cloud investments. Deliver all work according to industry best practices, policies and using repeatable solutions.
  

• Technical Leadership: Demonstrate Self Learner mindset through continuous alignment of individual skilling to team/area demands and Customer Success goals.
  

• Accelerate Customer Outcomes: Engage in relevant communities to share expertise, contribute to IP creation, prioritize IP reuse and learn from others to help accelerate your customers transformation journey.
  

• Organize, Govern, and Participate and Run Architecture Design Sessions within tkxel and our customers.
  

Qualifications:

• Required qualifications:
  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business,
    

  • 4 years experience in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies,
    

  • 5 years of experience in Software Engineering,
    

  • 5 years of programming experience in C# or Python or JavaScript\NodeJS or Java,
    

  • Information technology (IT) consulting experience,
    

  • 4 years of experience in Solution Architecture & Design,
    

  • Understanding of one of the DBMS inside-out, DBMS like 'MySQL, SQL Server \ Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL'
    

  • OR equivalent experience
    

• Preferred Qualifications:
  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8 years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
    

  • OR Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6 years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
    

• OR Equivalent experience:
  

  • 4 years as a cloud solution architect focusing on Microsoft Azure.
    

  • 4 years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
    

  • 4 years experience working on technical projects.
    

  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
    

  • Non-technical certification: i.e., Prosci Certification; Change management, six sigma etc.
    

  • Technical Certification in Microsoft Azure
    

• Collaboration and Communication: Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
