Job Title: Software Sales Representative
Job Overview:
As a software sales representative, you will be responsible for selling software products and services to potential customers. You will be required to identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships with customers, and negotiate contracts to close sales deals. You will also need to work with technical teams to provide customer support and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Identify and prospect potential customers through cold calling, email marketing, and other lead generation techniques.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers and work with legal teams to finalize agreements.
- Work closely with technical teams to provide pre-sales and post-sales support to customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Proven track record software sales or related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with sales tools and technologies, including CRM software and email marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and industry trends.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and industry events as required.
Compensation:
The compensation package for a software sales representative typically includes a base salary plus commission and bonuses based on performance.
