Senior Machine Learning Engineer | Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch (Lahore)

AZ Technologies is looking for a Machine Learning (ML) Engineer who designs, develops, and deploys AI systems and self-learning applications by building and optimizing machine learning models. Key responsibilities include data analysis, feature engineering, model implementation, performance evaluation, and deploying these models into production environments. The role requires strong skills in programming (especially Python), mathematics, statistics, deep learning frameworks, and collaborating with data scientists and software engineers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Data Handling:
    Analyzing large datasets, performing statistical analysis, feature engineering, and data cleaning to prepare data for models.
  • Model Development:
    Researching, selecting, and implementing appropriate machine learning algorithms and frameworks (like TensorFlow or PyTorch).
  • Model Optimization:
    Testing, evaluating, and refining ML models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
  • Deployment:
    Integrating ML models into scalable systems and applications that can automate tasks and provide insights.
  • Collaboration:
    Working with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Key Skills

  • Programming:
    Advanced proficiency in languages like Python, and familiarity with Java and R is beneficial.
  • Mathematics & Statistics:
    A deep understanding of probability, statistics, and various algorithms is crucial.
  • Machine Learning Frameworks:
    Experience with libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Data Science & Engineering:
    Skills in data architecture, data modeling, data preparation, and feature engineering.
  • Computer Science Fundamentals:
    A strong foundation in computer science, data structures, and software engineering principles.
  • Soft Skills:
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to various audiences.
