Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Officer

We are seeking a
detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Officer
to join our growing tech team at
TripPlannerPK
. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our digital platforms — including websites, mobile applications, and booking systems — to deliver a smooth and reliable user experience for our clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using standard QA tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely bug resolution and quality releases.
  • Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing on all software components.
  • Participate in software design and requirement reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before deployment.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure platform compatibility.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting testing process enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed QA reports and present findings to the development and management teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Jira, Postman, or Selenium (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of API testing, UI/UX validation, and automation testing is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
