We are hiring an
Assistant Manager – Raw Material Procurement
for our Rawalpindi office. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing aligned with production needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in vendor handling—particularly through cash & carry platforms and major brands—along with strong negotiation skills, inventory oversight, and ERP proficiency. The position requires close coordination with internal departments and a solid understanding of procurement best practices to support operational efficiency and cost control

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage
    end-to-end procurement
    of raw materials based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
  • Handle
    direct vendor interactions
    , especially with
    cash & carry chains and major brand suppliers
    .
  • Negotiate prices, finalize orders, coordinate deliveries, and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships to ensure
    consistent quality
    ,
    timely deliveries
    , and
    service reliability
    .
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely replenishment, avoiding stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Work closely with internal departments including
    Production
    ,
    Quality Assurance
    ,
    Finance
    , and
    Warehouse
    for seamless procurement operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including
    purchase orders
    ,
    delivery records
    ,
    pricing agreements
    , and
    inventory reports
    .
  • Assist in
    vendor evaluation
    , performance tracking, and participate in securing
    favorable contract terms
    .
  • Prepare regular reports on
    procurement performance
    ,
    material consumption trends
    ,
    supplier lead times
    , and
    inventory status
    .
  • Utilize
    ERP systems
    and
    Excel
    for procurement data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with
    company procurement policies
    and
    industry standards
    .

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management
, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

3–5 years of relevant experience in raw material procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Proven experience with vendor negotiations and sourcing from cash & carry platforms and well-known brands.
