About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced
RCM Manager
who can lead our medical billing operations end-to-end. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process
, proven experience in managing billing teams, and the ability to join sales calls to provide
technical expertise and client confidence
. This role requires a strategic thinker who can optimize processes, reduce denials, and maximize collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the
entire RCM process
: patient registration, eligibility verification, charge capture, coding, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and AR follow-up. - Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of medical billers, coders, and AR specialists.
- Monitor KPIs (clean claim rate, first-pass resolution, denial rates, AR days) and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales team by
joining client calls
to provide technical RCM knowledge and address client concerns. - Develop and enforce policies to ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements.
- Prepare and present regular performance and financial reports to management.
- Identify revenue leakages and implement strategies to optimize collections.
- Stay updated with payer guidelines, industry regulations, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Minimum
5+ years of experience as an RCM Manager
in a US healthcare/medical billing company. - Strong knowledge of
US healthcare billing, coding, EOBs, ERAs, AR management, and denial handling
. - Experience in working with EMR/EHR and medical billing software.
- Excellent communication skills to handle
internal teams and client interactions
. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to
support the sales team on calls
with technical expertise. - Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (CPC, CPB, or equivalent).
- Experience in managing
multi-specialty practices
billing. - Ability to train new team members and scale operations.
