The Senior Analyst – Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for delivering accurate financial insights and forecasts that support strategic decision-making by leadership. This role involves managing budgeting and forecasting cycles, conducting in-depth financial and variance analysis, preparing management reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Budgeting & Forecasting

· Lead and coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments or business units.

· Develop financial models and scenarios to support planning assumptions and business case analysis.

· Partner with department heads to understand operational drivers and validate financial plans.

  1. Financial Analysis & Reporting

· Analyze actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods; explain key variances in revenue, cost, margins, and operating expenses.

· Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and business performance metrics for senior management and global stakeholders.

· Support ad-hoc analysis requests including profitability, ROI, and cost-benefit assessments.

  1. Business Partnering

· Act as a trusted finance advisor to business units by translating financial data into actionable insights.

· Provide financial guidance for key initiatives, headcount planning, cost optimization, and capital expenditure.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR, IT, etc.) to align financial plans with business objectives.

  1. Data Management & Modeling

· Build, enhance, and maintain complex financial models that integrate multiple data sources.

· Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems and tools.

· Leverage business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to visualize trends and KPIs.

  1. Strategic Planning & Projects

· Support long-range financial planning and strategic decision-making initiatives.

· Participate in finance transformation projects, ERP upgrades, or reporting automation efforts.

· Identify and drive continuous improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

· MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA preferred.

· 5–8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or corporate finance in a multinational or shared services environment.

· Strong understanding of financial statements and business performance metrics.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

· Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial planning tools.

· Solid business acumen, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

· Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with SQL or database querying.

· Exposure to FP&A processes in a matrixed, global organization.

· Understanding of GAAP/IFRS and accounting principles.

· Knowledge of automation tools
