The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and compliance. A key focus will be managing UK VAT returns, payroll, and bookkeeping through QuickBooks. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in working with UK-based companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and expense management.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in tax, NI, pensions, and statutory deductions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in Excel & QuickBooks (including multi-currency transactions).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Liaise with UK auditors, accountants, and tax advisors to ensure compliance.
  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Handle FBR taxation and file tax returns in Pakistan to ensure compliance with local laws.
Requirements
  • CA or ACCA qualified (mandatory).
  • At least 2+ years working with UK-based companies.
  • Hands-on expertise in VAT returns, payroll processing, HMRC compliance, and FBR taxation.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (knowledge of other UK accounting software is a plus).
  • Strong grasp of UK and Pakistan tax regulations and reporting standards.
  • Excellent English communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
