Company Description

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA), established under the Punjab Safe Cities Ordinance 2015, is dedicated to the establishment, development, and maintenance of an integrated command, control and communication system (PPIC3) for the police in major cities of the province for public safety. With a vision of enhancing security and quality of life, PSCA has developed the PPIC3 Center for Punjab Police in Lahore and plans to expand to other large cities. PSCA has identified 2000 locations for the installation of over 10,000 surveillance cameras to cover public institutions, key infrastructure, public roads, crime hotspots, VVIP routes, entry and exit points, and public places.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Chief Network at PSCA, located in Lahore. The Deputy Chief Network will be responsible for overseeing the network operations, ensuring the maintenance and development of the integrated command, control, and communication system. Daily tasks include monitoring network performance, managing network security, troubleshooting network issues, and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure seamless communication and connectivity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Network Operations, Network Maintenance, and Network Development
  • Skills in Network Security and Troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Integrated Command, Control, and Communication Systems
  • Strong Coordination and Communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Lahore and manage a team effectively
  • Relevant experience in public safety and surveillance systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Certifications related to network management and security are advantageous
