We are seeking a Manager for South Punjab who will be responsible for nurturing existing relationships with schools and individuals throughout the territory and formulating plans aligned to schools' unique needs. This individual will play a key role in enhancing Cambridge International's presence within the education sector and supporting the training requirements of Cambridge schools in the area. The position also involves developing new strategic relationships and strengthening existing relationships to drive substantial business growth.

The Role
Based in Multan, the successful candidate should expect significant travel around South of Punjab as well as other part of the Punjab province. In collaboration with both regional colleagues and UK-based teams, the Manager will identify and pursue opportunities to facilitate market expansion, including organising educational seminars, conferences, community events and other sector events.

Further responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Supporting and managing existing school relationships in the South Punjab to ensure their needs are adequately addressed. The role will also assist teams overseeing compliance, inspections, registration of new schools, training programmes, research initiatives, and other school-related matters.
  • Driving sales growth across South Punjab, you will engage extensively with the network of schools and potential educational partners.
  • You will contribute as part of a team dedicated to strengthening relationships with stakeholders such as Cambridge schools, governmental bodies, higher education institutions, and other relevant parties. Working closely with functional leads and teams in both Pakistan and Cambridge is essential to fulfilling these objectives.
  • Representing Cambridge at national conferences and exhibitions, you will liaise with diverse stakeholder groups by presenting information about Cambridge programmes and qualifications.

Additionally, you will remain informed about educational policies in Pakistan, particularly in Punjab, to advise the Senior Manager Punjab and Deputy Country Director, Assessment, Pakistan, on strategic issues.

About You
A university degree is required. A comprehensive understanding of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, its programmes, competitors, and educational policies in Pakistan and internationally is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and possess strong negotiation skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal, diplomatic, and communication abilities are also critical for success in this role.

Credibility with school leaders and education policymakers is important, along with effective communication. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate across teams as needed.

Additionally, you will bring the following skills:

  • Fluency in English and Urdu language

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT literacy
