Teaching & Research Assistant – School of Management Sciences

Are you passionate about both teaching and research, and eager to grow in a dynamic academic environment? As a
Teaching & Research Assistant
at NIT School of Management Sciences, you will work directly with world-class faculty, contribute to high-impact research, and support an innovative, student-centered learning experience inspired by Arizona State University's academic model.

What You'll Do

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Assist faculty in designing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials, and case-based material.
  • Conduct tutorial sessions, review classes, and provide academic guidance to students.
  • Support assessments through grading, feedback, and academic documentation.
  • Mentor students and hold office hours for academic counselling.
  • Contribute to academic seminars, workshops, and departmental events.

Research Responsibilities

  • Support faculty-led research projects from literature review to publication.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data using quantitative and qualitative tools.
  • Draft manuscripts, case studies, and conference papers.
  • Contribute to grant proposals and funded research initiatives.
  • Present and disseminate research at academic events and symposia.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Economics, or Social Sciences (Master's preferred).
  • Strong academic record with interest and experience in both teaching and research.
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research tools (e.g., SPSS, Smart PLS, NVivo, Overleaf etc.).
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and analytical skills.
  • Comfort with LMS and digital learning tools, including AI-driven platforms.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
