About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Azure engineer to help us ship reliably and securely. You'll own deployments, harden cloud resources, and keep our containerized workloads healthy without the red tape.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) for .NET and containerized apps.
  • Deploy and operate Azure App Services, Azure Functions (serverless), and AKS (Kubernetes) with best practices for scalability and cost.
  • Implement container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm) and manage ACR images and releases.
  • Troubleshoot C#/.NET application issues across environments; instrument with Application Insights and logs.
  • Enforce Azure security controls: RBAC/Managed Identities, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Azure Policies.
  • Configure networking: VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, load balancers, DNS, and ingress (App Gateway/WAF).
  • Optimize reliability (blue/green, canary, health probes), performance, and cloud spend.
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and CLI; contribute reusable scripts/runbooks.
  • Collaborate with developers on release readiness, incident response, and post-mortems.
  • Document runbooks, standards, and architecture diagrams.

What You Bring (Must-Have)

  • 3–5+ years in Azure with strong DevOps/SRE chops.
  • Production experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Proven CI/CD pipeline design (multi-stage, approvals, secrets, artifacts, rollbacks).
  • Solid C#/.NET debugging and performance tuning.
  • Strong PowerShell for automation.
  • Sound understanding of Azure networking, identity management (Entra ID/Azure AD), and cloud security.
  • Knowledge of serverless patterns for Azure Functions (triggers/bindings, durable functions, isolated worker).
  • Familiar with monitoring/observability: Application Insights, log analytics, alerts, dashboards.

Nice to Have

  • AWS experience (EKS/Fargate/Lambda, IAM) to support multi-cloud conversations.
  • IaC (Terraform or Bicep/ARM), Helm, Kustomize.
  • Experience with secrets management, WAF, Zero Trust, workload identity on AKS.
  • Disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability design.
  • Scripting in Bash; comfort with Linux container internals.

Certifications

  • One or more of: AZ-104 (Administrator),AZ-305 (Architect), AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer).
  • Bonus: CKA/CKAD, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.
