Digital Nomadic Solutions (DNS) is a forward-thinking technology firm specializing in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, and scalable application deployments. As we continue to establish ourselves as an industry leader, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Deployment Specialist / Cloud DevOps Engineer to work on various cloud-driven projects and enhance our cloud automation and application deployment strategies. This is a fully remote position with opportunities to work on high-impact initiatives and collaborate with a global team.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Deployment Specialist / Cloud DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure and AWS, specializing in deploying modern applications, particularly applications, while simulating a Vercel-like deployment experience in cloud environments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can think critically, problem-solve independently, and facilitate well-structured deployment processes that ensure efficiency, scalability, and security.

This role requires expertise in CI/CD automation, cloud optimization, infrastructure management, and monitoring, with a strong background in security best practices. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and security teams to enhance DNS's cloud deployment capabilities while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Deployment

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructures on Azure and AWS for applications.
• Simulate a Vercel-like deployment experience using Azure Static Web Apps, Azure Functions, AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda, and other cloud-native services.
• Ensure cloud environments are optimized for performance, security, and cost efficiency, leveraging auto-scaling features.

CI/CD Pipeline Automation & DevOps

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Implement automated deployment triggers (e.g., build hooks, pull request triggers) for efficient software delivery.
• Optimize deployment processes for fast rollouts, rollback capabilities, and minimal downtime.

Serverless Architecture & Backend Management

• Deploy and manage serverless environments using Azure Functions and AWS Lambda for handling API routes and backend logic within applications.
• Implement custom domain management, SSL certificates, and secure API integrations to ensure best practices in cloud security.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Automation

• Manage cloud resources using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and AWS CloudFormation for automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Ensure cloud deployments follow immutable infrastructure principles and adhere to security compliance standards.

Logging, Monitoring & Security Compliance

• Establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and Application Insights.
• Track deployment performance, system health, and error logs, ensuring quick troubleshooting and resolution of incidents.
• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).

Collaboration, Documentation & Training

• Work closely with developers, DevOps teams, and security engineers to streamline cloud deployment strategies.
• Document deployment processes, best practices, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
• Provide training and mentorship to teams on deployment automation, cloud security, and operational best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.
• Expertise in Azure and AWS cloud services, including compute, networking, security, and serverless technologies.
• Strong experience with deployment workflows and serverless application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for real-time performance tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with custom domain management, SSL certificates, and securing web applications.
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or CKA) are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Bun framework-based applications and integrating them into cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud security policies, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
• Familiarity with performance tuning, cost optimization, and cloud networking strategies.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, engaging with stakeholders across engineering, security, and DevOps teams.
