DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure as Code Documentation

Job Description: Siddique Ice & Cold Storage operates cold storage facilities in Islamabad with IT infrastructure. We seek a DevOps engineer to document our existing infrastructure as code (IAC) and create rebuild procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document existing Docker containers, LXC environments, and Proxmox virtualization setup
  • Create Infrastructure as Code templates
  • Develop rebuild procedures and disaster recovery documentation
  • Work alongside existing DevOps team to ensure knowledge transfer and system continuity
  • Create deployment templates and configuration management procedures
  • Document network configurations, database setups, and inter-service dependencies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience
  • Expertise in Docker, Proxmox, LXC containers, and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Docker Compose)
  • Proficiency with Linux system administration and Windows Server environments
  • Experience documenting multi-service architectures
  • Fluency in English and Urdu
