Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Planning Engineer to join our team for a major Water Reservoir Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring timely completion of all construction activities in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project).
  • Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, and revised schedules as required.
  • Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and potential bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and client submissions.
  • Support project controls, cost planning, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Participate in progress review meetings and present schedule updates.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project timelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in water infrastructure or reservoir construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling techniques, and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working on reservoir, dam, irrigation, or water supply infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of project controls, cost management, and risk analysis.
  • Strong command of Excel and other project control tools.
