Position: PLANNING ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, monitoring and updating integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible
  • Preparing baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams
  • Assess impacts to the critical path and near-critical activities and report to the project team
  • Monitoring schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective action
  • Preparing and providing schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis
  • Maintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performance
  • Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule

Competencies and Skills Required:

  • 3 years
    of experience in relevance.
  • Previous experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques, including critical path method (CPM), resource leveling, and risk analysis.
  • Familiarity with engineering principles and construction processes.
