Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern, you will play a vital role in fueling ZAPTA's business growth. You'll focus on researching potential leads, engaging decision-makers, and creating opportunities for the business development team. This internship is designed to give you real-world experience in B2B tech sales, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role upon successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential leads in target industries (US, Europe, GCC).
- Conduct outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, and phone.
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls with prospects.
- Maintain and update leads/activities in the CRM system.
- Assist in drafting outreach messaging and sales collateral.
- Collaborate with the Business Development and Marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, ZAPTA's solutions, and competitor landscape.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree BBA (Marketing)
- Experience 0-3 months
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).
- Passion for sales, business development, and the technology industry.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work on-site with the Lahore sales team.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, email outreach, and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho) is a plus.
