Car Hauler Job Description:

  • Operate car carrier trucks to transport vehicles between designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of both the truck and vehicles.
  • Safely load, secure, and unload vehicles in compliance with industry safety standards.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet schedule requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT or relevant local transport regulations.
  • Keep accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and transport records.
  • Communicate with dispatch, customers, and management regarding delivery status.
  • Perform minor truck and trailer maintenance as required.

Freight Hauler :

  • Identify and secure new shippers requiring freight services.
  • Build and maintain a network of reliable carriers.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with shippers and carriers.
  • Coordinate and schedule shipments from pickup to delivery.
  • Track freight in transit and resolve delivery issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, rates, and shipment details.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to shippers and carriers.
