We are seeking a results-driven
Operations Manager
to oversee and optimize the daily operations of our
automobile manufacturing plant
. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-vehicle assembly processes, a strong background in lean manufacturing, and proven leadership in a high-volume automotive production environment.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Lead end-to-end vehicle manufacturing operations, including body shop, paint shop, assembly line, and final inspection.
  • Drive plant performance to meet production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives.
  • Monitor production schedules and resource planning to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
  • Implement and enforce lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams for seamless plant operations.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety across all operations.
  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage and develop frontline supervisors and shop-floor teams.
  • Support new model launches and ensure readiness of tooling, processes, and workforce training.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in automobile manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle assembly processes, lean systems, and quality frameworks.
  • Experience working in a mass production automotive plant (OEM or Tier 1 preferred).
  • Solid leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Siemens Opcenter).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Operations, Engineering, or Business Administration.
