Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot, Database Integration) – Full-Time On Site, Lahore

Position Overview

AZ Technologies is hiring a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, database integration, JBoss, and Hazelcast. Experience in fintech systems is required. This role involves hands-on coding, problem-solving, and close collaboration with global teams. You will design, build, and optimize backend solutions while mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of Java applications using Spring Boot.

Develop and optimize integrations with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.

Work with JBoss application server and Hazelcast caching/distributed computing.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.

Translate user stories into scalable technical designs.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.

Stay updated with new tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years hands-on Java development experience with Spring Boot.

Strong knowledge of JBoss and Hazelcast.

Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL and Oracle required).

Experience in fintech, banking, or payments industry (required).

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, unit testing, and CI/CD.

Experience with Linux-based systems.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with C or Java/C integration.

Experience with cloud-native/DevOps ecosystems.

Knowledge of compliance or financial software.

Understanding of payment systems such as SWIFT.
