Open Door Design Studio is growing. We're looking for a Project Architect who can take ideas from sketch to site—developing concepts, turning them into clear construction drawings, and helping see projects through to completion across Pakistan.

What you'll do

Develop and refine design options under the guidance of the project lead.

Produce detailed drawings, specs, and construction documents.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors so all parts align.

Visit sites to review progress and ensure intent, codes, and quality are met.

Work with project managers to hit deadlines and manage budgets.

Present proposals and progress to clients, then iterate with feedback.

Research and apply sustainable strategies and materials.

Ensure compliance with local bylaws, building codes, and safety standards.

Stay current on tools, methods, and emerging industry practices.

What you'll bring

At least 2-3+ years' experience in architecture with multi-scale projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape/Lumion (and related tools).

Strong design sensibility across Architecture and Interior Design.

Clear communication and presentation skills with clients and teams.

Detail-oriented, organised, and able to prioritise and manage time well.

Location: Full-time, on-site in Karachi.
