Role Summary

The Brand Manager at Codup is a strategic and execution-driven role that blends brand development, content leadership, and go-to-market alignment. Unlike traditional brand roles, this position is central to Codup's content and messaging strategy, acting as both a brand guardian and content strategist. The Brand Manager ensures that Codup's voice is consistently reflected across all channels, while also supporting ABM initiatives, GTM planning, and event execution in collaboration with the VP Marketing and Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities Brand Strategy and Identity
  • Own and evolve Codup's brand identity, voice, tone, and visual language across all channels.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines in collaboration with the design team, ensuring consistency across internal and external assets.
  • Align all touchpoints—including marketing, content, events, and product messaging—with Codup's brand standards and strategic narrative.
Content, Editorial, and Strategic Execution
  • Act as the editorial lead, overseeing the development, quality, and delivery of all content initiatives, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, and event content.
  • Collaborate with the Content Lead to develop content themes aligned with ABM and GTM priorities, and support execution across podcasts, webinars, and thought leadership formats.
  • Drive consistency in storytelling and brand messaging across digital and offline marketing channels.
  • Interview internal stakeholders including sales, business analysts, product, and delivery teams, to build accurate, insight-driven content and structure for case studies, capability decks, and other sales enablement materials.
  • Develop planning documents and structured briefs for all major content and brand deliverables, ensuring alignment with audience needs and GTM objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with the design, content, and campaign teams to support high-impact brand campaigns and product launches.
  • Work closely with the VP Marketing (Houston, USA) and Director of Marketing to align brand strategy with GTM goals and demand generation objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to ensure brand consistency and value proposition alignment across customer and prospect-facing materials.
Strategic Marketing Initiatives
  • Contribute to Codup's quarterly and annual GTM planning, including the development of core messaging, positioning, and creative briefs.
  • Play a central role in the planning and execution of ABM campaigns and 2025 marketing events.
  • Serve as a brand strategist for event messaging, speaker decks, and visual materials, ensuring a cohesive representation of Codup at trade shows and webinars.
  • Assist in the development of Codup's annual marketing plans by contributing strategic insights, content calendars, and cross-functional priorities tied to GTM and ABM goals.
Internal Brand Stewardship
  • Evangelize Codup's brand values and tone internally across teams and departments.
  • Ensure internal teams are trained on brand usage and messaging frameworks.
  • Maintain a high standard for brand application in templates, proposals, sales decks, and onboarding materials.
Skills & Competencies Strategic Thinking
  • Ability to develop brand strategy that ties into Codup's GTM plan, ABM campaigns, and ICP alignment.
Editorial & Content Expertise
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to guide editorial voice and tone across multiple formats.
Collaboration and Leadership
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally with content, design, campaign, and leadership teams.
Project and Time Management
  • Able to manage multiple content streams, brand projects, and campaign deliverables simultaneously.
Brand Experience
  • Prior experience owning or managing a B2B brand and working with designers on the application of brand identity
Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience in brand management, content marketing, or editorial strategy roles in B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to GTM and ABM planning processes.
  • Strong familiarity with B2B technology, SaaS, or eCommerce markets.
  • Proven ability to manage brand consistency across channels and marketing functions.
